“This review is going to seem a bit bipolar as I was very happy with the technician, Jonathan, but, after having no hot water for three days, was very disappointed with the actual service. The appointment said 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on the website, was advised to be between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the phone but resulted in an actual arrival time of 6 p.m. The technician, again very polite and courteous, seemed a little bit out of his depth and needed to refer to another technician. He did flush the heater and remove a lot of sediment but that did not resolve the issue.
The result of the service was that the issue is still not resolved and Jonathan will be calling State Water Heaters this morning to consult with them. If he had been here, on-site during the working day he could have contacted State during normal working hours and a) arrived at a repair solution or potentially b) got repair parts on their way which will now necessitate even more delays in resolving the issue, whatever it is.”
